Toast; Lincoln, NE

Saturday nights for me are almost always a party. Whether it be going downtown with my friends, or having wine night in with my momma, I can usually foresee myself waking up Sunday morning with a bit of a headache. The only thing that gets me out of my bed on Sunday morning, aside from the need of a large cup of coffee, is the idea of… you guessed it, folks: good ‘ole brunch.

I. LOVE. BRUNCH. Like, in a ridiculous manner. I wish every day could be Sunday. Sunday brunch is the one time a week I don’t even consider eating healthy. Sunday brunch is my truest indulgence. Eggs, bacon, mimosas (obviously), biscuits and gravy, hash browns, burritos, french toast, pancakes, oh and a bloody mary every now and again. Some mornings, I ordered one of everything.

Samuel, tired of my picture taking after consuming quite a bit of brunch 🙂

Moving to Lincoln, finding new brunch spots was very important to me. I’ll continue to post other favorites on here as I check out new spots. I’ll start with my current favorite: Toast!

Toast’s brunch menu is a little different looking than other brunch menus. They have smaller portions for around $4-$5 each, so you can order multiple. Here is that very brunch menu:Screen Shot 2017-09-15 at 1.51.05 PM

They also have an incredible normal menu, that is also served during brunch times. The french dip with spicy au jus (featured below) is my absolute favorite. For the next brunch spots I feature, I’ll try to have pictures of the food before it’s halfway gone. I just get so excited about brunch, I start eating as soon as my plate hits the table…. 🙂

IMPORTANT: If you order fries, you have to get their ranch to go with. Also, their ice tea is excellent. Lastly, I always sit on the patio, but there is indoor seating if that’s more your vibe.
